Re: Aidan Lee Draven « Result #6 Yesterday at 11:08pm »
Looks good Couple things... it's highly unlikely that someone would advance to senior status and a top person within just 3 years... can you either raise his age or bring him down to junior? Sorry =/ Also, what are his superhuman reflexes? strength/speed/etc?
Aidan Lee Draven « Result #7 Yesterday at 10:45pm »
Name: Aidan Draven Nickname(s): Aidan, Aidiee (by females..xD) Age: 19 Birthday: November 3 Job(outside of the Watch): Currently Unemployed
Type of Other: Gifted Special Abilities: Superhuman Reflexes (Speed) Which Watch? Day Watch Status in the Watch: Junior Active Agent
Hair: Black with blonde in the center on top Eyes: Hazel Physical Looks: is around 6'2 and weighs roughly 185 lbs. However, all of his weight is muscle from the extensive workout and training that he does almost religiously. His hair is brown and medium length. His eyes are violet in color and seem to shine with a mysterious quiet glow. His arms and legs are extremely cut and his muscle tone shows quite clearly. His chest and stomach are also ripped with muscle and extremely cut. On his back are two large scars where wings would normally be located. There are also several large scars on his chest and lower stomach which appear to be made by some sort of blade. Aiden's face is thin and seemingly well structured.
As for how he dresses he can usually be seen wearing torn jeans, boots, and a black or military green t-shirt promoting some band or another. Both of his ears are pierced as is his nipples. He also has several tattoos on his body. He has the words "Love Will Tear Us Apart" on his chest, a heart on his right ring finger, a shark bomb on the left side of his neck, a cross (between his shoulder blades), and finally a pair of angel wings on his back
Attitude: On the outside Aiden may appear as a cold and heartless individual and he has been known to act this way to others at times. However,Aiden isn't evil by any means. He's a decent guy once you get to know him however that isn't the easiest thing to accomplish.
He anger's rather easily and is known to act rashly at times. This is mostly due to his love of fighting. He prefers to speak more with his actions rather than his words.
He himself believes that the world is going to hell and all that has happened to him is rather the beginning. Rather than blame his problems on 'God' or his parents he accepts full responsibility for everything that he has been through and believes it is all his own fault.
He is cocky and arrogant at times as well especially when he is fighting. Which is one of his true passions and the only semi-useful thing his miserable excuse for a father taught him. He is confident and upstanding about his own morals.
As far as the way he acts when he is around others. He is usually silent and cold. However, if he knows the person and considers them a friend of sorts he will speak regularly and even crack a joke or two. The thing is he believes that the only person he can truly rely on is himself
He is capable of love although he hasn't found anyone he could consider to have loved yet. He believes all things come in time. And he is content to wait for whatever it is to happen.
Goals:
To stop the evil of the Night Watch, without too much blood shed. To find someone to love. To become more sociable to others.
Likes: fighting, punk music, silence, piercings, tattoos, blades (of any kind), girls, his abilities, rain, his friends, protecting others. Dislikes: Night Watch (in general), killing, murderers, thieves, guns, daytime, betrayal, and his father. Strengths:
His insane reflexes (capable of dodging or deflecting bullets) His intelligence and combat experience. His skill in the arts of Aikido, Muay-Thai, and Kendo (sword fighting)
Weaknesses:
his ribs having no allies trusts people too easily angers easily
Fears:
The death of his friends and comrades Not being able to protect or help others. His father
Parents: Father , Frank Draven, deceased ex-military Special Forces mother , Donna Linoge, deceased Siblings: None Other family: None Economic status: Middle Class?
History: Aidan was born in Seattle, Washington to his mother while his father was away doing something for the military. His mother raised him and took care of him until his father came home and insisted that they give the boy up for adoption. Aidan's mother refused and his father attacked her. He beat her viciously and she spent 2 months in the hospital for it where she made the nurses prepare a bed for Aidan in the same room as her so that her husband wouldn't try anything.
Eventually, Frank came to his senses and begin to see the potential in the small child. He also grew semi-fond of Aidan which made him hate the child even worse. He wasn't supposed to show such emotions.
Eventually when Aidan reached the age of 10 his father began to teach him Aikido and Muay Thai. He wanted Aidan to grow up and join the military just like he had. Although, Aidan had no such desires he just wanted to stay in Seattle and get through school which was already giving him trouble due to his high disinterest in it. However, he quickly mastered the arts the father was teaching him to avoid the extremely harsh punishments his father would have administered to him.
On the eve of his twelfth birthday he was waiting for his parents to return home when he received a phone call telling him of the terrible car crash his parents been in. It had killed both of them instantly; his father’s Porsche was wrapped around a large oak tree. Which was no surprise to Aidan seeing as how his father drove. He didn’t miss his father, but he did miss his mother dearly. He was then sent to live with his Aunt on Angel Falls, NC who detested him and fighting of all kinds.
He was 16 years old when he found out about the Twilight. He knew about his powers since the day he was born. Hence, why he was able to master the skills his father wished to teach him so easily. As everything around him began to gray out he would fall to his knees clutching his head.
After awakening in his bed as he stepped out to the streets he was contacted by a member of the Day Watch, where he was quickly assigned a spot as an agent.
Anything else relevant for your character? He is insanely skilled with blades of all kinds. Especially katanas and such.
Sample RP: Aiden sat in the solitary gray concrete cell that barely had enough room to lie down in. His back was to the hard, cold stone wall as he gazes up at the peep hole where the guards can look through to check on him if they wish to mock him. His lips are chapped and his stomach is hurting profusely since he has been over 26 hours without anything to eat or drink.
Stupid fuckers....I'll get them back for this...being blamed for something I didn't even do is bad enough but being beaten and dragged into this small cell is even worse... Aiden thought as he closed his eyes and feels the numerous bruises and knots where the guards had beat him unconscious, prior to dragging him into the solitary confinement cell.
"It's just a precaution..." the guard had told Aiden as he kicked him in the ribs repeatedly. we know what your capable of.." he said as he drove his steel toed boot into Aiden's chin causing him to bit a chunk of his lip off and blood to pour from his mouth. The the guard pulled out his taser and hit Aiden with it, the guard continued to use the taser until the batteries wore down completely. By this time Aiden was reduced to a small ball huddled in the corner of the room holding back his pain and using anger to fuel his thirst to stay awake.
"Your a tough one aren't you? OK.." the guard said as he reaches down and pulls out a knight stick and slams it into Aiden's skull knocking him unconscious.
Is that what these fucker's put us through every time we get blamed for something? Aiden thinks as he pushed himself off the floor using the concrete wall for support and pushing with his legs, his arms wrapped tightly around his broken ribs. As he lifted his shirt slowly and stared down at the black and blue bruises on his chest and stomach. Every time his abs contracted a jolt of pain shot through his body. It was so intense for a moment Aiden thought that he might pass out.
After the feeling passed he walked forward and slammed against the door using all of the force he could muster. It wasn't much but somehow it made Aiden feel better so he continued to bang his beaten and bloodied body against the steel door with what little strength he could muster.
"Help..." he rasped. But no one heard him. If they had they hadn't say anything.
I'm going to die...in this place.... Aiden thought as he leaned back against the wall and allowed his beaten and bloody body to slide down the wall back into the sitting position he had been in previously. http://devilanddiseasexx.proboards.com/i....lay&thread=3587

The Darkness [LB] « Result #9 Yesterday at 10:01pm »
Welcome to the bleak city of Utopia. Here is where all hell breaks loose. When night falls, the living dead comes out to gain the dominance of the world from the wolves. Between these two species, there have been many wars raging on between their clans and with the species themselves. Utopia was once considered a peaceful place to live until it went to the dead and the dogs. Many of which were once those who were peaceful.
Amongst these races are five clans of each race. Each of them with a leader who is out to be the leader of Utopia. Each of them willing to take it all or nothing. Many of which could care less about their peers. Yet there are some that don't even apply to these clans. These would be the rogues or the freemen who just don't seem bothered by the ordeal, but do care about what goes on in Utopia.
With this, we ask of you, which would you choose to lead the world of Utopia?

Chester glanced upwards and, his face white, grabbed the papers from her hands frantically. So frantically in fact, that some of them landed on the ground again. He reached over to grab them up again, but only to have his hand stepped on by whoever it was that went walking by at the moment. He gasped out, grabbed the paper, stuffed it roughly into the folder, then stuck his filthy hand into his mouth.
This is totally going according to plan.
Well he couldn’t just stay down here on the ground. He stared at the feet of that girl who had tried to help him, realizing that she just wasn’t going to leave. Taking his hand out of his mouth, Chester looked up at her again, and forced a pathetic smile.
“Th-th-thank you,” he managed to stutter, clutching his papers to him tightly. He stood up, and looked desperately around him. Please, please let the contact be nearby.
Sweat formed on Chester’s forehead, and he wiped it away with his sweat-stained sleeve. He looked at the girl again. He knew her face!
She was a Junior in the Day Watch. Sixteen, seventeen—whatever, she was a child. He saw her picture before. Just as he’d seen probably everyone else’s at some point or another. She was looking at him, and he didn’t know what to say.
“I r-r-really need-d to go now actually, b-but thank y-y-you again for your k-k-kindness.” He nodded and backed away from her quickly, but only to run right into a man who was significantly larger than lanky Chester. He gasped shrunk down to his knees, clutching with his arms both his head and his folder, quite expecting to be throttled.
Many years ago, some say hundreds and some say thousands, people believed in animal spirits called talismans. These talismans were like teachers, parents, friends and sometimes even enemies to the people they were bound to. Whether you liked it or not, these talismans guided you and helped you throughout your life, some more then others, depending on how lucky you were. Born with their spirits by their side, they wouldn't learn what it was until they had matured and the talismans believed they were ready. When the time came, the talismans showed revealed themselves and taught them how to shift into their animal forms.
But unity could not be held between these gifted people forever, and they soon split into different factions, each with their own goals and ideals. Tensions mounted; rumours spread. Before long, the fights broke out.
The origins of their names are lost in history, but the feud between the Hunters and the Innocents has raged ever since. Talk of magic used to bind uncooperative Talismans circulate, arousing fear and suspicion. The Hunters go to any length to stop, and even eliminate, the Innocents. The Innocents will fight back and do the same.
But whatever you do, don't take their labels at face value.
In a small town in southern Canada, a young woman is putting together a force to try to bring the Hunters to justice and free those who have been forced to serve under them. But she cannot do it alone.
Choose wisely, for your spirit depends on it.
Good question; why join Ever Changing Spirits? You've seen other animal shifter RPs before, this is just another one, right?
Right?
No! No no no no!
Well, why? I am more then happy to answer.
Quality! Yes, quality, baby-cakes! Sure, it looks nicer to have threads with 1000 word posts, but if it's all just blah blah blah, then what's the point? If it's a choice between boring 1000 word posts and dramatic, thrilling 200 word posts, we'd take the short posts any day (as long as it's good quality, mind you)! If you combine quality and quantity successfully, then we'll kiss your boots and worship the ground you walk on.
Freestyle Drama! Please disregard the lack of colour in our advert, we're really anything but black and white. We've got character-driven subplots, and occasional site-wide subplots for all to join, though we won't throw bricks at you if you don't want to. We're freestyle and member driven, so create the stories you want!
Can we has happy tiem nao plz? Well, let me think about it... Teehee, I jest. Of course you can! In fact, we love to have so much fun here, even the staff will join in! The environment in ECS is pretty fun-loving, easy-going and *coughinsanecough*. We've got games, a friendly and active staff (who doesn't like that?) and a rainbow of characters to thread with. We even have an NPC account for those of you who want a human player behind those extras. And cookies, don't forget the cookies. So what're you waiting for? Get over here!

Mandee sat calmly on the subway, tapping her fingers on her jeans to the rhythm on her ipod. She was dressed in her usual, her black leather trench coat with a white shortsleeve underneath. Her hair made her look like she'd just gotten out of bed, even though it was mid-afternoon. She had no idea what stop she was going to, she would get off when she wanted to.
She did this sometimes. Particularly when she gets really stressed out. She'd just take a subway to a random spot in the city, and just kind of explore. She had no idea why, but it usually worked like a charm.
Except in the scenario where it was rush hour and packed in so tightly that she could see what the idiot standing in front of her had had for lunch. Which was, you guessed it, right now.
Mandee practically ran off the train the first chance she got, only to find herself in an even more crowded station. She looked around, and began booking it for the exit. As she got closer and closer, she began to notice something.
There was an Other nearby.
She turned around immediately, trying to see who it was. And as she did, she bumped into someone. She bumped pretty hard, too. So hard that all the papers he was holding to his chest got knocked out. She didn't see them, and she didn't care. Her charitable side kicked in, and she stopped to help.
"Oh my god, I'm sorry!" She said, almost absent-mindedly. She immediately bent down to try and help this guy. She began stacking the papers for him, barely looking at them. But what she did see was a little disturbing.
'Blueprints? Photos? Who is this guy?' She glanced sideways at him as she straightened out her stack. He looked a little sketchy to her, with his greasy hair and what looked like hand-me-downs for clothes. 'Maybe he's a terrorist...'
She forced that train of thought from her head and stood up, holding out her stack of papers.
Re: Marshmallows and People / OPEN+Nyx / « Result #15 Yesterday at 6:39pm »
Nyx was enjoying herself. She loved shopping, always had. She was something of a hoarder, a magpie, always collecting things. She blamed living on the streets for years for that. She'd spent so long having nothing to her name that now she was able to, she bought as much as she could.
She even loved the amount of people. With everyone bumping into each other, she could look into people’s memories without raising suspicion. Admittedly most of what she saw bored her to tears, but there was on occasion a memory that made her stop and stare.
It was by doing this that she’d lost Zach. She’d bumped into a young man, got a flash of gun fire and blood and had fallen over backwards just to prolong the contact. Since moving to America, she’d found so many more soldiers reliving their times out in Iraq or Afghanistan. She wasn’t sure why that was, but she had to admit she enjoyed it. All that blood and fear, it sent a shiver of pleasure down her spine. The young man had caught her somehow and she used the opportunity to search for more of the memories. By the time he’d let her go a few seconds later, she was trembling.
If it weren’t for the fact she was shopping with Zach, she would have asked him for a coffee, anything to get the chance to rummage around in his mind again. She turned away from him, quickly diving into his pocket to grab his wallet; she would like to see him again but needed a way to find him. Grabbing a personal item would help her do that.
She stuffed it in her bag and looked around to see where Zach was. On not finding him, panic started to rise in her chest. Had he left her? Had he finally gone forever? She knew that it was going to happen one day, but she’d hoped that she’d have a warning of some description. He’d start telling her to stay behind when he went out on a hunt, ignoring her when she did something he usually approved of, go from apathetic to ... whatever the hell the next thing to apathy was.
She moved quickly to the edge of the shop and closed her eyes in concentration. Focusing on Zach, she saw where he was and all but ran in the direction of the coffee shop. He’d gone and left her. He’d left her! She hadn’t really noticed, but he’d done it all the same. It was enough to make a lump well up in her chest. Not knowing whether she’d cry or throw up, she stopped just around the corner and took a few deep breaths. She didn’t want him to see her like this. Although it was pretty damn obvious to anyone that saw them, she didn’t know if he knew how she felt about him. And she didn’t know what he’d do if he ever were to find out. It was probable that he wouldn’t do anything, but she didn’t want to run the risk of him dropping her.
After she’d managed to calm down, she stood up straight and fluffed her hair, plastering a smile on her face. She walked around the corner and looked straight to Zach, not needing to search for him. Even if she hadn’t seen where he was sat in her vision, she wouldn’t have needed to look; she seemed to be drawn to his presence all the time.
She saw a smile spread across his face as she came into view and she felt so giddy she nearly skipped into the café. She sat down opposite him and grinned when she saw the second cup on the table. She took a sip and practically moaned. He’d gotten her a Mocha, with extra chocolate. It was her favourite drink. He’d gotten her favourite drink and smiled when he’d seen her. That made her year.
She took another sip of her drink, revealing in the taste. Coffee and chocolate, it was heavenly. She idly wondered if there was somewhere she could get chocolate covered coffee beans around her, she had a sudden craving for them.
“Thanks for the coffee, I really needed that. Oh, and I got you this.”
Before she’d bumped into the soldier, she’d seen the perfect gift for him. She pulled out the small bag and handed it to him, watching as he pulled out a black tie.
“Seems you can get anything on a tie over here.” Embroidered onto the tie were tiny knives, that you could only really see when the light caught it. It was obviously meant as a joke present for chef’s or something, but she thought that it’d be perfect for him.
